# Extension 

If the company is already **Trading Member** and wants to join **additional Euronext markets**, it is possible to do so through the **Extension** section. This process is a simplified version of the initial onboarding and ensures that the setup is complete from legal, technical, and operational perspectives. 

**How does the Extension process work?** 

Each request goes through 4 different stages :  

-   Initiation 
-   Admission 
-   Technical configuration 
-   Go live  

Each stage starts when the previous one is completed. 

For each one of these stages, the request goes through different statuses : 

-   Not started 
-   Ongoing 
-   Acknowledged 
-   Completed 
-   Cancelled 

You will be able to start and submit a request by: 

## Initiation 

  
Selecting new markets and corresponding segments. 

-   Allocate a Firm ID to the requested markets or request a new Firm ID.  
-   Providing the mandatory contact details 
-   Signing the required application form 

## Admission 

-   Confirm the relevant Post-trade setup 
-   Complete the Participation Information by completing the Declarations and User & Contacts sections 
-   After Euronext review, the extension will be confirmed with an official admission letter 

## Technical Configuration  

-   Confirm the relevant Post-trade setup (if not performed in the Admission phase) 
-   Confirmation of any new allocated Firm ID (if requested) 
-   Confirm the status of Logical Access for production environment 

## Go-Live 

  
A confirmation is sent informing that the setup is complete and confirming the go-live for the new markets. 

After the completion of all phases, each phase will show the “Completed” status:

**Additional Information:** 

-   It is possible to submit multiple Extension requests at the same time. 
-   Extension requests can be initiated even if another is already in progress.
