# Resignation 

If a company decides to resign from one or multiple Euronext markets, it is required to go through the **market resignation process**. This ensures a smooth and compliant exit, covering all legal, operational, and technical requirements. 

A resignation request can apply to: 

-   **All markets** in which the company is active (full resignation)  
-   **Specific markets only** (partial resignation) 

After requesting the resignation, the process is divided into the following phases: 

## Initiation

-   The trading member initiates the resignation request by selecting the market(s) they intend to exit and confirm the preferred effective date. 
-   The resignation contract is generated and sent to the Authorized Signatory via DocuSign for signature. 

## Acceptance & Notifications

-   After Euronext review, the resignation will be confirmed with an official termination letter. 

## Technical Deconfiguration

Internal step to be performed on Euronext side resulting in the final deconfiguration.

After the completion of all phases, each phase must be marked with the status “Completed”:
